To convert a Macintosh file to BinHex4 format, use the Convert TO BinHex4 command in the Misc menu. Compact Pro asks you to select the file to be converted and then asks you to supply a name for the file to be created (the source file is left unmodified). If the Include LFs checkbox is checked, Compact Pro adds Line Feed characters at the end of each line of text in the BinHex4 file (this is required by some systems); otherwise, it omits them to reduce the file size.
